I've been a total shit when it comes to updating this blog...but I finally have a few bucks for music, and it's not completely depressing to be looking at records again. On that note, I'm not going to talk about records at all. There must be some psychological explanation, but I'm not the one to diagnose myself.
Anyone else who is on the White Stripes e-mail list has been bombarded by new store additions that make you want to sell a kidney. I'm not even close to a huge White Stripes fan, but they have this power over me...they know how to push my buttons and that's hard to do (insert White Stripes song allusion here). There's a whole mess of unique and beautiful items in their store right now and I thought I'd mention it to the few readers I have. Take a look at these, then imagine it's 20 years from now, the White Stripes are one of the definitive bands of our generation, and you've got these truly unique items sitting on your shelf. Your kids are going to think you're f*ing hip! PS, I'm not going to mention those items which all the blogs went ga-ga over, such as the Holga cameras. This post is to highlight those which you might have overlooked...

These Nesting Dolls were designed by fans Tracy Ireland and Sarah Walters. Each set includes a Jack or Meg from each album cover. The girls originally gave the band a set in Blackpool, England 2005 as a gift. The band loved them so much, the girls were asked to design a Jack and Meg from Icky Thump to include in these beautifully handcrafted sets. Only 600 of each were made. $30 each.
